The bipartisan AgJOBS bill was reintroduced on January 10, 2007 in both the U.S. Senate and House. This historic bill would allow for undocumented farm workers to earn the right to permanently stay in this country by continuing to work in agriculture for about 3-5 years....

Civic Participation

Over 1,600 people attended citizenship events throughout the San Joaquin Valley, in Fresno, Visalia, Mendota, and Bakersfield. Approximately 500 naturalization applications were completed.

Farm Worker Disaster Relief Program

On January 12th, California was hit by a week-long freeze that devastated the Central Valley’s citrus industry and will most likely leave at least 28,000 farm workers unemployed within days. Some workers will face foreclosure, eviction or be forced to choose between paying their utility bills or feeding their children. We need your help to ensure that farm workers receive the emergency assistance they need in this time of crisis...
